Airport Advisory Board
The Airport Advisory Board meets on the fourth Thursday quarterly in January, April, July and October. Meetings begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Betty S. Williamson Meeting Hall.
The Airport Advisory Board is responsible for reviewing issues relating to the Odell Williamson Municipal Airport facility.
It shall be the duty of the Airport Advisory Board to:
(1) Make studies of the existing airport facilities and surrounding areas, and to promote the economic development of the airport.
(2) Determine objectives to be sought in the development of these areas.
(3) Prepare and adopt plans for achieving these objectives.
(4) Develop and recommend policies, administrative procedures and other means for carrying out plans the board of commissioners may direct.
(5) Advise the commissioners concerning the use and amendment of means for carrying out plans and objectives.
