Dear Property Owner:

 

       During the past few months, the Board of Commissioners for the Town of Ocean Isle Beach has worked diligently to study options available for the continued operations and maintenance of the Town’s Wastewater Treatment system.  We have now reached a crucial period where expansion of our existing plant is necessary.  The Town has weighed several options including a Town initiated expansion or a move to a more regionalized approach with Brunswick County. 

 

       The Board feels at this point public citizen informational meetings and input is necessary before coming to a final conclusion regarding this matter.  Therefore two public meetings have been scheduled as follows to discuss this very important issue.

        Town Hall is located at Three West Third Street, Ocean Isle Beach.  Each of these options will be presented in detail with both pros and cons being discussed.  We encourage each of our property owners to make every effort to attend one of these meetings regarding the future direction of our sewer system.
