MINUTES

MEMBERS PRESENT:

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER

            Mayor Smith called the reconvened meeting to order.  Town Administrator, Daisy Ivey, stated that the Board of Commissioner’s recommended changes to the budget for Fiscal Year 2006-2007 had been applied and that the Fiscal Year 2006 – 2007 budget was balanced.  Mrs. Ivey presented her budget message to the Board and this budget does not reflect an increase in either the tax rate or utility rates for the upcoming year.  The Board reviewed the updated version of the budget and ask the Town Administrator to prepare in final form for presentation to the public on June 13^th.

ADJOURN

            Being no additional business or comments heard the meeting was unanimously adjourned upon a motion by Commissioner Wooten with a second by Commissioner Walters.  The vote was unanimous.
