Come enjoy crafts and story time with Nemo and Baby Sea Turtle.  Help Nemo build and race a seashell boat!  The Power Squadron will have boats and equipment on site to teach children hands-on water safety information.  Don't forget to bring your camera on board!

A presentation by the Ocean Isle Beach Sea Turtle Organization will be held each Tuesday night beginning May 29th until August 21st.  Each program will begin at 7:00 pm and will be held at the Ocean Isle Beach Community Center located at 44 East First Street.  Come learn about the life cycle of sea turtles, their nesting habits, ways to protect them and how visitors can assist with sea turtles during their stay.  Watch a video of OBEY, the 400 pound Loggerhead that was rescued on Ocean Isle Beach, rehabilitated at the Sea Turtle Hospital and then released back to her ocean home.  Join us for a great evening of learning about the sea turtles that are local to Ocean Isle Beach.

Town Hall and all affiliated departments will be closed on  Wednesday, July 4, 2012, in observance of Independance Day.  Normal hours of operation will resume on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
 

Join us for a fun-filled family parade starting at the Museum Parking Area traveling left on East Second Street, right turn on LaGrange and again on East First Street and returning to the Museum via Halifax Street.  Parade lineup begins at 9:30 am at the Museum Parking Area.  Categories include:  Golf Carts, Floats, Bicycles and Walkers.

All hands on deck as we march to the Flag Parade and play the Cannonball Treasure Hunt.  Then it's off to enjoy pirate flag crafts & "Jimmy and Pirate Talk" story time.  You never know when Captain Greybeard will pay a visit so be sure to bring your camera!

Bring your yard chair and enjoy a wonderful evening of great music, dancing and fellowship!
