Board of Commissioners Decisions and Comments Concerning Results
- Vote does not support the Town proceeding any further with this project.
- The Concrete Canal Committee will be disbanded immediately. The Board of
Commissioners wish to express their sincere appreciation to those property
owners who served as a part of this committee. Their dedication and service to
the community is to be commended.
- A workshop will be scheduled at a later date to discuss standards and
specifications for future repair/maintenance of these bulkheads. These repairs
will be performed on an as needed basis by the individual property owners.
The first survey regarding the Bulkhead Maintenance project was conducted in
February 2002. The results of this survey were as follows:
